A wanderer and a wonderer

I was born in Edmonton, and grew up on the shores of beautiful Lesser Slave Lake in northern Alberta. I always loved to wander by the lake, collecting pretty rocks and feathers. I spent my days daydreaming, reading and drawing. I thought the best job in the world would be illustrating books, a perfect excuse to do what I love.

I took my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the University of Alberta. My major was painting, but I also loved my sculpture, mythology and poetry classes.

After travelling to lovely places all over the world, I discovered a quaint little town in the East Kootenays where I live with my husband, kids, dog and cat.
